Puerto Princesa is the capital city of Palawan province and is marketed as the "City in a Forest." The city's most famous attraction is the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New7Wonders of Nature. This underground river system extends for 8.2 kilometers beneath a limestone mountain range.
