About Coron Town
Coron Town is a first-class municipality situated in the province of Palawan. The town is famous for its World War II wreck diving sites, with numerous Japanese ships sunk by American forces in 1944 lying at depths ranging from 10-40 meters. The area is also home to Kayangan Lake, often called the cleanest lake in Asia. The indigenous Tagbanua people maintain ancestral rights over the area's natural resources.
