The terminal's distinctive architecture showcases the "Tropical City" concept, blending natural elements with modern technology. Its interior features extensive green walls, a duplex forest-themed commercial zone, and the Enchanted Garden - an interactive installation combining lights, sound, and motion sensors. The terminal spans 408,000 square feet and operates across multiple levels.

Terminal 2 is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including automated check-in kiosks, a dual-wing configuration with 42 gates, and an automated people mover system connecting it to other terminals. The terminal's baggage handling system is fully automated and integrated with artificial intelligence technology for enhanced efficiency. It primarily serves Singapore Airlines and its subsidiary Scoot, along with several other international carriers.
