Description:
This map shows information counter, ticketing, toilets, parking lots, taxi stand, gift shops, lifts, points of interest and tourist attractions in Gardens by the Bay (Singapore).
Gardens by the Bay is a nature park spanning 101 hectares (250 acres) in the Central Region of Singapore, adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. The park consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden, and Bay Central Garden. It has become one of Singapore's most popular tourist attractions, receiving over 50 million visitors since its opening in 2012.
The park's most distinctive features are the Supertree Grove - eighteen tree-like structures that dominate the Gardens' landscape with heights ranging between 25 and 50 meters (82-164 feet). These vertical gardens act as environmental engines for the gardens, harvesting solar energy, collecting rainwater, and serving as air venting ducts for the conservatories. At night, the Supertrees come alive with a spectacular light and sound show called "Garden Rhapsody."
Two giant conservatories form another major attraction within the Gardens. The Flower Dome, certified as the World's Largest Glass Greenhouse by Guinness World Records, replicates the cool-dry climate of Mediterranean regions. The Cloud Forest features a 35-meter tall mountain covered in lush vegetation and the world's tallest indoor waterfall at 35 meters. Both conservatories showcase diverse plant life from different climate zones and incorporate sustainable energy technologies.
The gardens also include various themed gardens such as Heritage Gardens, World of Plants, and Dragonfly & Kingfisher Lakes. These spaces combine horticultural artistry, architectural innovation, and state-of-the-art sustainable technology. The entire complex serves not only as a tourist destination but also as an educational facility promoting environmental awareness and conservation. Visitors can access the gardens via multiple MRT stations including Bayfront, Marina Bay, and Gardens by the Bay stations, making it easily accessible from various parts of Singapore.
