Night Safari Map
Description:
This map shows visitor information centers, restrooms, restaurants, gift shops, tram stations, ranger stations, points of interest and attractions in Night Safari (Singapore).
The Night Safari Singapore is the world's first nocturnal wildlife park, opened on May 26, 1994. Located next to the Singapore Zoo, it spans 35 hectares (86 acres) of secondary rainforest and is home to over 900 animals representing approximately 100 species, of which 41% are threatened species.
The park is divided into seven geographical zones which can be explored either on foot via four walking trails or by tram. The 40-minute tram ride covers a 3.2-kilometer route and passes through habitats designed to replicate those found in Southeast Asia, Africa, India, and the Himalayas. Special lighting techniques create an artificial moonlight effect, allowing visitors to observe nocturnal animals in their natural behavior while ensuring their comfort.
Among the park's notable inhabitants are Asian elephants, clouded leopards, Malayan tigers, Asian lions, and various species of deer and flying squirrels. The Leopard Trail, one of the walking paths, offers close-up views of leopards, lions, and other big cats, while the Fishing Cat Trail showcases smaller predators native to Asia.
The facility operates from 6:30 PM to midnight daily, with the last admission at 11:15 PM. The park also features the Creatures of the Night Show, an interactive presentation highlighting the natural abilities of nocturnal animals. For dining, visitors can experience tribal-style cuisine at the Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant or enjoy local delicacies at various food carts throughout the park.
