River Wonders Map

Description:
This map shows visitor information centers, restrooms, gift shops, restaurants, points of interest and attractions in River Wonders (Singapore).

River Wonders, formerly known as River Safari, is Singapore's first and only river-themed wildlife park, opened in 2013. Located within the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, this 12-hectare facility showcases aquatic and terrestrial animals from eight major river systems of the world, including the Mississippi, Nile, Mekong, and Amazon Rivers.

The park's centerpiece is the Giant Panda Forest, a climate-controlled biodome that houses Singapore's resident giant pandas, Kai Kai and Jia Jia, along with other animals native to China's mountain forests. The Amazon River Quest offers visitors a boat ride adventure showcasing wildlife from the world's largest rainforest, including jaguars, Brazilian tapirs, and capybaras.

One of the park's most significant attractions is the Amazon Flooded Forest, which features a 2,000-cubic-meter aquarium that replicates the Amazon River's annual flooding phenomenon. This exhibit houses manatees, arapaima (one of the world's largest freshwater fish), and various other Amazonian species. The Rivers of the World gallery showcases unique species from different river habitats, including the Giant River Otter and the Mississippi Paddlefish.

River Wonders is also home to one of the world's largest collections of freshwater aquatic life, with over 7,500 aquatic and terrestrial animals representing more than 240 species. The park actively participates in conservation programs and breeding initiatives for endangered freshwater species, including the Mekong Giant Catfish and the Giant Pangasius.
