Description:
This map shows restrooms, restaurants, shops, points of interest and attractions in Bird Paradise (Singapore).

Bird Paradise in Singapore, which opened in May 2023, is Southeast Asia's largest bird park, spanning 17 hectares (42 acres) in the Mandai Wildlife Reserve. This state-of-the-art facility houses approximately 3,500 birds representing more than 400 species in naturalistic habitats designed to mirror their native environments.

The park is divided into eight immersive zones, each representing different ecosystems and geographical regions. The main attractions include Wings of Asia, showcasing the region's most diverse avian collection, Heart of Africa, featuring birds from the African continent, and Penguin Cove, home to five species of penguins in a climate-controlled environment. The Winged Sanctuary houses threatened species and supports critical breeding programs for endangered birds.

One of the park's unique features is the world's largest living collection of hornbills, with 20 species represented. Visitors can experience interactive feeding sessions and witness free-flying demonstrations at the Crimson Wetlands and Mysterious Papua zones. The park also includes Amazonian Arena, featuring South American species in a rainforest setting.

Bird Paradise serves as both a tourist attraction and a conservation center, participating in international breeding programs and research initiatives. The facility incorporates sustainable design elements, including natural ventilation systems and solar panels, aligning with Singapore's green initiatives. Educational programs and guided tours are available for visitors to learn about avian conservation and biodiversity.
