About Belek

Belek is a township with own municipality in Turkey, located on the Mediterranean coast about 30 kilometers east of Antalya. The town is situated in the Serik district of Antalya Province.

The area became a major tourist destination in the 1980s due to its sandy beaches stretching for 16 kilometers along the Mediterranean Sea. Belek is particularly known for its golf tourism, featuring 14 professional golf courses designed by prominent architects such as Nick Faldo and David Jones. The region hosts numerous international golf tournaments throughout the year.
