Canton of Luzern is situated in central Switzerland, bordered by the cantons of Aargau to the north, Bern to the west, Obwalden and Nidwalden to the south, Schwyz to the east, and Zug to the northeast. The capital city is Lucerne, famous for its preserved medieval architecture and the Kapellbrücke bridge.
