Singapore LRT Map

Description:
This map shows LRT lines and stations in Singapore.

The Light Rapid Transit (LRT) system in Singapore is an automated light rail network that serves as a feeder service to the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system. Introduced in 1999, the LRT operates in residential towns and connects commuters to major MRT stations and other transportation hubs.

The system consists of three lines: the Sengkang LRT, Punggol LRT, and Bukit Panjang LRT. All lines utilize fully automated, driverless trains running on elevated guideways. The Sengkang and Punggol lines are operated by SBS Transit, while the Bukit Panjang line is managed by SMRT Corporation.

The LRT system employs the same fare payment system as the MRT, using EZ-Link cards and other contactless payment methods. Trains typically operate from 5:30 AM until around midnight, with service frequencies ranging from 3 to 7 minutes during peak hours. Each train consists of one or two cars, designed to navigate tight turns in residential areas.

As of 2023, the combined LRT network spans approximately 18.7 miles (30.1 kilometers) and serves 41 stations across three residential towns.
