Japanese Garden Map
Description:
This map shows points of interest in Japanese Garden (Singapore).
Connected to the Chinese Garden by a bridge, the Japanese Garden opened in 1973. Designed in the style of Japanese Stroll Gardens from the Muromachi period, it features traditional elements like stone lanterns, timber bridges, and meditation areas. The garden includes a Guesthouse, Viewing Pavilion, and carefully manicured bonsai and landscape gardens. Synthetic rocks, created by a special technique from Japan, were used in its construction. The garden's design emphasizes the harmony between water, landscape, and architecture, creating a peaceful atmosphere typical of Japanese gardens.
