National Gallery Singapore opened in 2015 after a comprehensive renovation of two national monuments - the former Supreme Court and City Hall. With over 64,000 square meters of space, it maintains the largest public collection of modern Southeast Asian art globally. The gallery houses more than 8,000 artworks, with a particular focus on Singaporean and Southeast Asian art from the 19th century to present day.
