About Terminal B

Terminal B at LaGuardia Airport is one of four passenger terminals serving the airport in Queens, New York. The terminal underwent a complete reconstruction as part of LaGuardia's $8 billion modernization program, with the new facility opening in phases between 2020 and 2022.

The rebuilt Terminal B features 35 gates and spans approximately 1.3 million square feet. It serves as a hub for several airlines, including Air Canada, American Airlines, and Southwest Airlines. The terminal handles both domestic and international flights, with customs and immigration facilities located on the arrivals level.

Notable amenities include over 50 dining and retail establishments, art installations, and improved passenger circulation areas. The terminal incorporates sustainable design elements and achieved LEED Gold certification.

Terminal B connects to the Central Terminal Building via the LaGuardia Link, an elevated pedestrian bridge system. Ground transportation options include taxis, ride-sharing services, buses, and the Q70-SBS bus route providing connections to subway stations. The terminal's design emphasizes natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows and features a distinctive curved roof structure visible from the airport's approach roads.
