Praia da Rocha is a popular beach resort and tourist destination located in Portugal's Algarve region, specifically in the municipality of Portimão. The name literally translates to "Rock Beach" in English, referring to the distinctive rock formations along its coastline.

Transportation links include regular bus services to Portimão city center and other Algarve destinations, while Faro International Airport is approximately 45 miles away. The resort experiences a Mediterranean climate with mild winters and warm, dry summers, making it a year-round destination, though it's busiest during the summer months from June to September.
