About Croatia

Croatia is a beautiful country located in south-eastern Europe on the Balkan Peninsula. It borders several other countries, including Slovenia to the northwest, Hungary to the northeast, Serbia to the east, Bosnia and Herzegovina to the southeast, Montenegro to the southeast, it also has a maritime border with Italy. In addition, the country has a long coastline along the Adriatic Sea in the south-west.

Geographically, Croatia is characterized by diverse landscapes. The northern part of the country is predominantly flat or gently rolling, with fertile plains and agricultural land. As you go further south, the terrain becomes more mountainous. The Dinaric Alps stretch along the western part of the country, offering breathtaking views and numerous hiking opportunities. The coastal regions are known for their stunning beaches, clear turquoise waters, and picturesque islands.

The country is blessed with a Mediterranean climate along the coast, characterized by hot summers and mild winters. Inland areas have a more continental climate, with colder winters and hotter summers.
