About Da Nang
Da Nang is a major coastal city in central Vietnam, located between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. With a population of over 1.1 million people, it serves as one of Vietnam's most important port cities and transportation hubs. The city is renowned for its clean beaches, most notably My Khe Beach, which was named by Forbes as one of the most attractive beaches on the planet.
The city's modern landmark is the Dragon Bridge, spanning across the Han River. Built in 2013, this 666-meter bridge is designed in the shape of a dragon and can breathe fire and water during weekends and special events. Da Nang's economy primarily focuses on tourism, shipping, and high-tech industries.
The nearby Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son) consist of five marble and limestone hills, featuring several Buddhist sanctuaries and caves. Another significant attraction is the Ba Na Hills, home to the famous Golden Bridge supported by giant stone hands, and a French colonial hill station offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
