Bratislava Transport Map
Description:
This map shows tram lines and stations, bus routes and stops, and trolleybus routes and stops in Bratislava.
Bratislava's public transportation system, operated by DPB (Dopravný podnik Bratislava), consists of an integrated network of buses, trams, and trolleybuses. The system operates from approximately 4:30 AM until 11:30 PM, with night buses running on selected routes throughout the night.
The tram network includes 9 lines covering major areas of the city, with modern low-floor vehicles serving most routes. Trolleybuses operate on 13 lines, primarily in the hillier parts of Bratislava, while buses cover both the city center and outlying districts. The Main Railway Station (Hlavná stanica) and Bus Station (Mlynské Nivy) serve as key transportation hubs, connecting Bratislava to domestic and international destinations.
Tickets can be purchased from orange ticket machines located at most stops, convenience stores, or through mobile applications. Prices range from 0.70€ for a 15-minute ticket to 3.60€ for a 24-hour pass. All tickets must be validated upon entering the vehicle.
Alternative transportation options include taxi services, ride-sharing apps, and a bike-sharing system called Slovnaft BAjk. The city also maintains cycling paths along the Danube River and throughout various districts. For tourists, the twin city liner and other boat services offer regular connections to Vienna along the Danube River, while M. R. Štefánik Airport is connected to the city center by bus route 61.
