About Paradiski
Paradiski is a ski area located in the Tarentaise Valley of the French Alps in the Savoie department. It was established in 2003 and ranks among the largest ski domains in the world.
The domain connects three major ski resorts: Les Arcs, La Plagne, and Peisey-Vallandry. These resorts are linked by the Vanoise Express, a double-decker cable car that opened in December 2003. The cable car crosses the Ponturin valley and can transport up to 2,000 people per hour in each direction, making it one of the largest cable cars in the world.
Paradiski offers approximately 425 kilometers (264 miles) of marked ski runs served by 157 ski lifts. The skiing area spans elevations from 1,200 meters (3,937 feet) to 3,250 meters (10,663 feet) at the Glacier de Bellecôte. The domain provides terrain suitable for all skill levels, from beginner slopes to challenging off-piste areas.
The region attracts around two million visitors annually. Its high-altitude skiing areas ensure reliable snow conditions throughout the winter season. The domain is part of the broader Vanoise mountain range and sits adjacent to Vanoise National Park, France's first national park established in 1963.
