About Concourse B

Concourse B is the largest passenger concourse at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), serving as the primary hub facility for Delta Air Lines operations. The concourse opened in September 2020 as part of the airport's $4.1 billion terminal redevelopment project, replacing the previous aging terminal infrastructure.

The facility features 32 gates numbered B1 through B32, making it the most extensive concourse at SLC. Concourse B spans over 500,000 square feet and handles the majority of Delta's mainline domestic and international flights.

Located adjacent to Concourse A on the terminal's north side, the concourse connects to the central terminal via underground pedestrian tunnels equipped with moving walkways and the airport's internal train system. The facility incorporates advanced passenger amenities including multiple Delta Sky Club locations, diverse dining establishments, retail outlets, and modern gate areas with charging stations.

Concourse B accommodates various aircraft types from narrow-body jets to wide-body international aircraft. The concourse features sustainable design elements including energy-efficient lighting systems and incorporates local Utah cultural themes in its architectural design, reflecting the region's natural landscape and heritage.
