About Fontainebleau Las Vegas
Fontainebleau Las Vegas is a luxury resort and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. The property was originally conceived in 2007 as part of a $2.9 billion development project by Fontainebleau Development. Construction began in 2008 but was halted in 2009 due to financial difficulties during the Great Recession, leaving the 67-story tower incomplete for over a decade.
The project was acquired by Carl Icahn in 2010 for $150 million and later sold to The Drew Las Vegas in 2017. Following another ownership change, the property was purchased by Koch Real Estate Investments in 2022.
Fontainebleau Las Vegas officially opened on December 13, 2023, featuring approximately 3,700 hotel rooms and suites across 67 floors, making it one of the tallest buildings in Las Vegas. The resort encompasses 25 restaurants and bars, a 90,000-square-foot casino, multiple pools, a spa, and extensive meeting and convention space. The property also houses several retail outlets and entertainment venues, positioning itself as a luxury destination on the northern end of the Strip.
