Everett is a city in and the county seat of Snohomish County, Washington, United States. It is located 25 miles north of Seattle and is one of the core cities in the Seattle metropolitan area. The city had a population of approximately 110,629 as of the 2020 census, making it the seventh-largest city in Washington state.

Founded in 1890, Everett was established as a planned city and industrial center. The city's economy has historically been dominated by the timber and paper industries. Today, Boeing operates the largest building in the world by volume in Everett, the Boeing Everett Factory, which produces wide-body aircraft including the 747, 767, 777, and 787 Dreamliner.

Everett is situated on the Possession Sound waterfront along Port Gardner Bay, with the Snohomish River flowing through the city. The port of Everett is one of the largest ports in Washington state. The city serves as a regional center for commerce and transportation, with access to Interstate 5 and rail connections. Naval Station Everett, home to several U.S. Navy vessels, is also located in the city.

The city spans approximately 48.5 square miles and features a downtown area that has undergone revitalization efforts in recent decades.
