About Easton Town Center

Easton Town Center is an open-air shopping and mixed-use development located in the northeast side of Columbus, Ohio, United States.

The center opened in 1999. It was developed through a partnership that included Steiner + Associates, The Georgetown Company, and Limited Brands, the Columbus-based retail company founded by Leslie Wexner. Easton was designed as a "town center," with streets, sidewalks, storefronts, and public squares arranged to resemble a traditional downtown rather than an enclosed shopping mall.

The property contains more than 200 stores and restaurants, along with office space, hotels, and housing.

Easton is organized around a central town square that hosts public events and seasonal displays. It includes a large multi-screen movie theater and a range of dining and entertainment venues, and department-store anchors have included Nordstrom, Macy's, and Dillard's. The surrounding district holds corporate offices as well as further retail and residential construction, and the wider area is served by bus routes operated by the Central Ohio Transit Authority.

Since opening, the center has been expanded and renovated on several occasions, and it has been widely cited as an early and influential example of the open-air, mixed-use retail format in the United States.
