Yeouido Map

Description:
This map shows streets, parks, hotels, restaurants, shops, points of interest and sightseeings in Yeouido (Seoul).

The Yeouido district, often called Seoul's Manhattan, is the city's primary financial district located on an island in the Han River. This 8.4 square kilometer island houses the Korea Exchange (KRX), major banking institutions, and the headquarters of prominent corporations, including the iconic IFC Seoul complex and the 63 Building, which was once Korea's tallest building.

The district is also home to the National Assembly Building, South Korea's parliament, making it the center of the country's political activities. The Yeouido Park, converted from a former airfield, provides recreational space and hosts various cultural events. During spring, the park's Yunjung-ro street becomes one of Seoul's most popular destinations due to its spectacular cherry blossom festival.

A significant landmark is the Yeouido Hangang Park, part of the Han River Park system, which offers various recreational facilities and hosts seasonal events. The district also features the Yeouido Full Gospel Church, the world's largest Pentecostal Christian congregation. The area's Financial Investment Center and numerous broadcasting stations, including KBS and MBC, further emphasize its importance as a business and media hub.
