Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a sovereign state located in the Caribbean's Lesser Antilles. The country is divided into six administrative parishes: Charlotte, Grenadines, Saint Andrew, Saint David, Saint George, and Saint Patrick. The capital city, Kingstown, is situated in the Saint George parish on the main island's southern coast.

The total land area of the nation is 150 square miles (389 square kilometers). The northern Grenadines islands belonging to Saint Vincent include Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, Mayreau, Union Island, Palm Island, and Petit Saint Vincent. The southern portion of the Grenadines chain belongs to the nation of Grenada.

The country's territorial waters extend 12 nautical miles from its shores, with an exclusive economic zone of 200 nautical miles. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines shares maritime borders with Saint Lucia to the north, Barbados to the east, and Grenada to the south.
