Gangnam Map
Description:
This map shows streets, parks, hotels, restaurants, shops, points of interest and sightseeings in Gangnam (Seoul).
Gangnam is Seoul's most affluent and modern district, located south of the Han River. This area rose to international fame through PSY's hit song "Gangnam Style" in 2012. The district serves as Seoul's main business and financial hub, hosting numerous corporate headquarters, luxury hotels, and high-end retail establishments.
The district features several notable landmarks, including COEX Mall, one of Asia's largest underground shopping centers, and the striking Bongeunsa Temple, which provides a stark contrast to the modern skyscrapers surrounding it. The area is also home to the SAMSEONG-DONG SPECIAL TOURIST ZONE, known for its concentration of luxury brands and entertainment venues.
Gangnam is particularly famous for its concentration of educational institutions, plastic surgery clinics, and entertainment companies. The district's main thoroughfare, Teheran-ro, is lined with corporate buildings and is often called Seoul's Wall Street. The area around Gangnam Station is one of Seoul's busiest entertainment districts, featuring countless restaurants, bars, and shopping venues that attract both locals and tourists.
